Empty Words/ 6:41 PM
I promise to love you till the end of time
Write all the poems with the words that rhyme
Love you cause i know you need someone
When you think of the future, i'm the one
But how much do words weigh
Were you really here to stay?
I'm glad things turned out this way
Cause i couldn't stand being miserable another day
And now the sun shines more for me than anyone else
If its one thing i've learnt, yea i should love myself
I wish you all the best with whatever it is you do
But i'm sorry when you need someone and he doesn't come through
Cause i know that i won't and probably never will
You left a hole in my heart and it bleeds still
But you never really did care and i don't want you to
Cause for what you did, i now know the truth
So i'll pack my bags and walk life's road
Glad that i finally got rid of this heavy load
I am who i am this is who i'll be
And yea, guess we were never meant to be.
So for all the words that i said and meant something
Somehow you made them turn into nothing
Ironic how you turned something so full of love
Into emptiness, nothingness, something that was nothing but
Love, an empty word.

Its funny the kinds of poems you can think of when you're ice-ing your shin LOL this poem was based on.... experience, partially mine but its like taken from alot of people, and its for those who have loved and lost. Some found solace some didn't but whatever happened, its probably for the best. So yea those still looking for some solace, you'll find it someday someway unexpectedly. Till then, keep that chin up =)
