Thank you for being the main influence in my life
Really couldn't have gone through all the painful strife
If it wasn't for you, i don't know what i would've become
Cause you knew fully well all i wanted was to have some fun
Thank you for the times you pulled me back
Even when i knew me decisions were whack
And for those times you let me through,
Thank you for being there to see me through
And now as i see you lying there,
I really can't act as though i don't care
Cause for a fact, i love you more than life itself
You're my grandma plus you put me before yourself
I guess that was your flair and your own style
When you shouldn't have your only solace was, "its worth the while."
Never wavering, unselfish and always loving
And to describe you this is just the beginning
We both don't know how things are gonna turn out
You gave everyone a scare when you almost blacked out
It was a rough night, thats all i can say
We just ain't too prepared to let you go away
The family wants to hold you tight and not let you go
Well most of us though for some i can't say so
But thats not the point cause i promise you
As long as i'm here, thats something i won't let them do
So please rest easy and please rest well
Don't worry about us, take care of yourself
We still got that family holiday to go on together
Yea its to Genting so you can enjoy its weather
Stay strong, like you've always been for life
Now its our turn to help you through your strife
You're a veteran in life its easy for you
But we'll be right here to see you through
