Unspoken/ 11:06 PM

Crackling beneath the waters edge
Fires burning inside with dread
Turmoil causing battles of wars
Tears shed of loved ones lost

Glazed over in the misty night
Stories they tell of princesses and knights
Those who were saved and she left alone
Patiently she waits sitting on her cold throne

The cold armor he wears does nothing to calm
Fire that burns so ardently in his heart
Her words lingering like a unforgettable psalm
His lies they disappear his future no longer apart

Clouded over the moon slowly fades
A memory of a hope she once held so dear
Pained handing everything over to fate
Never had she seen a future so clear

On that cold morning they finally met
Hope that dried up amidst the tears that were shed
Hand clasped her head resting on his shoulders
Eyes closed, words unspoken, no need, they're lost in the moment

I wish i knew why i wrote this... there just this feeling that i can't quite put a finger on... it sounds a bit emo-ish but nt really more of like losing hope then finding it, knowing that you can find it there but the past holds you back or more like jerks you back. Maybe? You are the greatest mystery to me... yet you, hold the key

Starry, starry night.
Paint your palette blue & grey,
Look out on a summer's day,
Shadows on the hills,
Sketch trees & daffodils,
Catch breeze & winter chills,
In colors on snowy linen land.
