Proverbial something to live for, when all's bleak
The one to live for when life gets hard and the pain starts
And she gives me strength when i'm down on my knees, weak
Somewhat magical, she lifts me up, no matter how badly i'm beat

To compare you to angels would do you injustice
Cause what you did for me is worth more than just gorgeous beauty
To love you till life's end i'd promise you this
But your heart and your hand i'd need and for a lifetime you'd be happy

Your power over me is just so strong
On the lonely nights you're not there i close my eyes and i see you
But you never leave me for long
You come right back cause you know that without you i just couldn't do

At the end of the day i've still got God to thank
He gave me the honour of meeting someone like you
The lowest point of time in my life i sank
He sent me an angel, you to help me through
